From my earliest memories, I have perceived something around living beings that I can only describe as a life-force energy. As a child growing up on a farm in Kentucky, I had no language for it and no reason to think it was unusual. It was simply part of the world I knew.

Living in that rural environment gave me a great deal of time to observe nature, animals, people, and the subtle ways energy seemed to move through all living things. Over time, I discovered that I could do more than simply perceive it. I could interact with it in ways that sometimes seemed to help people feel better, recover more quickly, or experience changes they had not expected.

After high school, my search for understanding eventually led me into organized religion. Within a spiritualist evangelical community, my healing ability was viewed as evidence of a divine gift. For a time, I tried to understand my experiences through that framework. Eventually, however, the expectations and restrictions surrounding those beliefs no longer felt right to me, and I chose to continue my path independently.

Years later, while living in Phoenix, I survived a near-fatal fall and an experience that changed the direction of my life. I came away from it with an overwhelming sense that there was still something I was supposed to do.

One of the turning points came when I was asked to visit a man named Steve who was in a coma. While I worked with him, he regained consciousness. I have never forgotten that moment. Word spread, and before long people from many different places and many different walks of life began contacting me and asking for help.

A television report by FOX reporter Rod Haberer later introduced my work to a much larger audience. From there, the requests continued to grow. Over the years I have worked with thousands of people dealing with everything from everyday pain and injury to extremely serious illnesses. Some experienced remarkable changes. Others experienced more subtle improvements. Every person, every circumstance, and every outcome has been different.

I have never approached this work as though I possess some magical power over another person. What I do is deeply personal and difficult to explain. When I work with someone, I become intensely aware of what is happening within them. I often perceive areas of imbalance, distress, or disruption and work with what I sense there.

Interestingly, this work has never left me feeling depleted. Quite the opposite. When a session is complete, I am usually more energized than when I began. That has always suggested to me that whatever is taking place is not simply a matter of one person giving energy to another.

For me, healing has never been only about the physical body. It can touch emotions, awareness, relationships, and the way a person understands their own life. Sometimes the most important change is not the one we expected when the process began.

After all these years, I still do not claim to have every answer. I continue to observe, learn, question, and pay attention to what happens.

What I can say is that I have spent most of my life witnessing things that have convinced me we are far more complex than the physical body alone, and that none of us is as isolated as we sometimes believe.
